Autolinking

Please note that in order to use the Autolinking feature, a connected integration is required, ie, having a website connected to Journalist AI.

The AI link-building feature for Journalist AI automatically adds internal and external links to your existing articles.
It analyzes your content, identifies optimal places for links, and selects appropriate anchor texts.

Selecting your article

1. Choose the website containing the articles you want to audit. Ensure the website is connected to Journalist AI.
2. Select the post where you want to insert new links.

Internal Linking Setup

1. Click on 'Internal Linking' in the options.
2. Add your sitemap URL (there are 2 ways to do it):
   • Manually - Locate your sitemap URL (typically in the format yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml), and paste it into the provided field.
   • Automatically - Click on 'Find Sitemap' and enter your website's URL.
3. If needed, filter the pages:
   • Filter pattern - Narrows down to specific content types, like blog posts.
   • Exclude pattern - Excludes specific URL’s within your website.

External Linking Setup

1. Toggle the 'Enable External Linking' switch.
2. Select the target country for relevant external links.
3. Set Inclusion rules:
   • Include External Sources: - Only links from these sources will be included in the audit.
   • Include Links- The specified links will be included in the audit.
4. Set exclusion rules:
   • Exclude External Sources - No links from these websites will be included in your audit.

Finally, click on "Generate" to generate your links.

Link Review and Insertion

1. Review the suggested links:
2. Select your preferred links:
   • Preview anchor text placements.
   • Choose the best links from the options.
3. Click 'Insert Links' to add them to your article.
4. Refresh the article to view the new links
