Overview

The Planned Automation feature in Journalist AI allows for more manual control over your content generation. Unlike Full Automation, this mode lets you decide exactly which articles to generate, their keywords, and when they should be published.

Setting Up a Planned Automation

Creating a New Campaign

Click New Campaign.
Enter a name for your campaign.
Enable Auto Blog by toggling the switch.
Select Planned Automation mode and click Continue.

Configuring a Planned Automation

Select Integration: Choose the website where the articles will be published (e.g., Webflow, WordPress).
Set the Interval: Decide how often the articles should be generated (Daily, Weekly, Every 12 hours, etc.).
Social Media (Optional): Connect a social media account to have the articles shared automatically
Choose the Number of Articles per Batch: Specify how many articles should be generated per interval.
Randomize Publishing Times (Optional): Introduce a randomized time range (e.g., a 6-hour window) to avoid publishing all articles at the exact same time.

Customizing Global Preferences

Planned Automation allows for greater customization over your content before it gets published. You can:

Add Keywords: Click Add SEO Articles and enter specific keywords + Titles for your articles.
Customize Outlines: Modify or create your own outlines, or let the AI generate them.
Adjust Article Templates:
- SEO Article Preferences: Change settings like internal linking and structured data.
- News Article Preferences: Modify headline styles, featured image settings, and formatting.
- Add Different Content Types: You can include both SEO articles and News articles in the same campaign.

Managing and Running Your Auto Blog

Keep track of your article inputs to ensure your Auto Blog doesn’t run out of content.
Click Start Auto Blog to begin the automation process.
Choose whether to start immediately or schedule it for a future date.
