SIte Optimizers
The Site Optimizer feature helps improve the SEO of your website by analyzing pages and metadata and providing optimization suggestions. This tool allows you to automatically implement these optimizations and integrate with external SEO tools.
Watch our step by step video on how to set up a Site Optimizer:
Setting up a Site Optimizer
- Navigate to the Blog Automation tab.
- Click on Site Optimizer.
- Click Create a New Optimizer.
- Enter a name for your Site Optimizer.
- Input your website URL.
- Select the website language
- Click Create Site Optimizer.
The tool will now scan all pages of your website.
Once scanning is complete, it will display optimization suggestions.
Understanding Optimization Suggestions
Page Titles
The tool analyzes your current page titles and suggests SEO optimized versions.
Example:
- Current Title: "Touch iPod 32 GB"
- Optimized Title: "iPod Touch 7th Generation 32GB - Excellent Condition, Space Gray"
Meta Descriptions
If a page lacks a meta description, the tool generates one or improves it.
Example:
- Optimized Meta Description: "Find the best iPod Touch 7th Generation 32GB in excellent condition. Great price, fast shipping."
Each suggestion includes a rationale explaining how it improves SEO.
Applying Optimization Suggestions
Apply individual Suggestions: Select individual optimizations and click Apply to implement the changes.
Apply All Suggestions: Click Apply Remaining Optimizations to apply all suggestions at once.
Archiving Suggestions: If there are unwanted suggestions, they can be ignored by clicking the archive icon.
Deploying Changes to Your Website
To make the optimizations live, you need to install a script on your website.
Installing the Script on your Website
- Copy the installation script from the dashboard.
- Insert the script into the <\head> section of your website.
- If you have access to the website’s code, add it before the closing </HEAD> tag of your HTML files.
- If using a CMS or website builder, use the platform’s option to insert custom header scripts.
- If your website allows adding scripts via a settings panel, paste it in the global header section.
- Save and publish the changes.
- Open your website to verify that the optimizations have been applied.
