How the RSS Feed Feature Works

Journalist AI allows you to pull articles from an RSS feed and convert them into usable content. The process is simple and highly configurable. Below is a step-by-step guide to set up and manage your RSS feed.

Setting Up Your RSS Feed:

Creating a New Feed

• In your Journalist AI dashboard, click Create Feed.
• Select RSS Feed from the available options.

Entering the RSS Feed URL

• Paste the RSS feed URL in the provided field.
• The URL should typically end with .xml, indicating it’s an RSS feed.
• Example: An RSS feed URL about small businesses could be https://example.com/smallbusiness.xml.

Configuring the Feed Fields

• Title Field: Select the field that contains the article title.
• URL Field: Choose the content field. This will pull both the title and the content of the article into your feed.

Creating the Feed

• Click Create Feed.
• The system will fetch all articles from the RSS feed, displaying a list of available articles.

Managing Your Feed

• Removing Articles: If you don’t want a specific article, simply select it and remove it from the feed. No content will be generated for that article.
• Changing Feed Configurations: You can replace the RSS feed URL, update field mappings by going to the Configurations tab
