What is Zapier?

Zapier is a no-code automation tool that enables you to create automated workflows without any programming skills. It offers extensive app support by connecting with over 7,000 apps, including popular website builders and CMS platforms, and serves as a seamless integration bridge between Journalist AI and your website to instantly publish new articles.

How It Works

When you publish an article using Journalist AI, Zapier receives the article data via an API integration and automatically sends it to your connected website builder. This process helps ensure that your content is published without manual intervention.

Setting Up the Zapier Integration

Creating a Zapier integration in Journalist AI

1. Navigate to the integrations section and click on Create Integration.
2. Select Zapier as your integration option.
3. Name your integration and click Create to generate an API key.

Requesting Access in Zapier

1. If you don’t have a Zapier account, sign up for one (it’s free).
2. Once logged in, click Request Access to Zapier within the Journalist AI dashboard.
3. Accept the invitation to use Journalist AI on Zapier.

Creating a New Zap

1. Click the Create Zap button in Zapier.
2. Search for Journalist AI 2.0.1 as your app.
3. Select the New Article trigger event. (This will activate whenever a new article is sent from Journalist AI).
4. Connect your Journalist AI account** by pasting the API key obtained earlier**.
5. Test the trigger to ensure that Journalist AI is correctly sending article data.

Setting Up the Action Event

1. Choose your website builder or CMS as the action app (e.g., Duda, Magento, etc.).
2. Select an appropriate action event (such as Create Blog Post) that matches how you want your article to be published.
3. Connect your website builder account by signing in and granting the required permissions.
4. Configure any additional settings (like mapping article fields to your website fields).

Publishing and Activating Your Zap

1. Review your Zap configuration.
2. Click Publish to activate the automation.
3. From now on, every new article from Journalist AI will be automatically published on your chosen website platform.

• Always test your Zap to ensure that data is transferred correctly between Journalist AI and your website builder.
• Depending on your website builder, you may need to customize field mappings (e.g., title, meta description, content) to match your site’s format.
